Tobacco box in embossed brass, commemorating the statesman William Pitt (1759-1806). On the lid, a profile portrait of Pitt, facing left, entitled: 'WILLIAM PITT' within a key pattern border. The sides are also decorated with Greek key pattern and the base is plain.
