Glass and ivory picture
Glass and ivory picture commemorating Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805) and showing a naval battle. A battle scene painted on ivory including a ship on fire. On the reverse of the domed glass cover, two boats with the occupants waving. The glass cover has a gold and white border top and bottom. The whole in a soapstone frame. Inscription: 'LORD NELSON VICTORY' (N's reversed).
