Glass and ivory picture commemorating Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805) and showing a naval battle. Battle scene painted on ivory and a French and English warship engaged on the back of the domed glass cover which has a black and gold border. Mounted in a circular soapstone frame. Inscribed on the ivory 'ADML NELSON'S VICTORY'.
