Miniature painting

A set of four miniature paintings of rural scenes set within one frame mounted on a lacquered ground and with a gold-coloured, metal frame with a suspension loop at the top. The four watercolours include: a reclining woman in a yellow dress with a child in a white shirt red breeches and pouring a green watering can; a woman in a yellow dress and white or pale pink over-dress on the floor and leaning against a plinth with another figure in a brown jacket with blue sleeves hiding behind the plinth, while another figure in a hat and with long white hair is running into the forest; a girl in a yellow skirt holding a cat with a dog barking up at her; and a boy sat on a log with his hat next to him and a dog is partially on the boy's lap, while the figure looks at a cockerel. The back of the object has a piece of wood with an inscription.
