Jane, Lady Keppel (d. 1895) [?]
Small marble bust of a woman, thought to be Jane West who, in 1861, became the second wife of Admiral Sir Henry Keppel (who was widowed in 1859). Her face has a slight smile, her hair is parted in the middle with a bun at the back, and she wears a pendant round the neck and a shawl draped round her shoulders. It stands on a square plinth. Like OBJ0487, a similar bust of Keppel to which it presumably relates, this item is inscribed on the back 'INSOM FECE'.
