Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805)

Statuette of Nelson on a plinth of marbled wood. Nelson is shown full-length, holding a telescope and wearing a sword but without a hat, queue, and in an inaccurate uniform. The figure stands on a circular base with a supporting rock behind the left leg, on which the left hand is resting. There are two inscriptions 'RI [CHARD?] INSBURGER' and 'NELSON'.
