An unidentified Abercrombie class monitor moored off Dover.

A distant port bow view of an unidentified Abercrombie class monitor moored off Dover taken from the light cruiser HMS Aurora (1913). Part of the gun shield and spray cover of one of Aurora's 4 inch guns can be seen on the left of the image, with part of the guest (boat) boom projecting out. A block and tackle and a rope ladder hangs from the boom.

The monitor was likely to be on its way to the Mediterranean to the Dardanelles.
