The Admiralty Short 184 (1915) reconnaissance torpedo bomber in flight over the North Sea.

A very distant starboard quarter view of the Short Admiralty 184 (1915) torpedo bomber reconnaissance seaplane in flight over the North Sea. Serial number 184 was sent to Felixstowe on 30 April 1915 before being dispatched to Gallipoli in May 1915.

The date of the photograph is uncertain as records indicate that the fuselage was returned to Britain in September 1915 and delivered to the Isle of Grain from White City on 15 August 1916 for experimental purposes.

Some scratches on the negative and an unexposed area along the top.
