Portrait plaque depicting Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805). A relief depicting Nelson carved in an oval recess beow the surface of an ivory panel. The subject is shown half-length facing three-quarters left. The uniform is inaccurate. The plaque is mounted in an ebony frame with a prop at the back.
