Portrait plaque
Portrait plaque depicting Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805). A pink wax relief plaque showing Nelson in uniform facing towards the left and viewed in profile. The plaque is a modern casting from the Andras wax relief OBJ0576. Mounted on an oval glass support, with no frame. The rubber mould used to make it is retained with the item. It is inscribed 'C. Andras 1805' below the shoulder and 'W' for Ware.
