Portrait plaque

Portrait plaque depicting Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805). A plaster profile depicting Nelson facing left after the Wedgwood plaque modelled by John de Vaere. The plaster is pink with a brown surface. It is mounted on a glass background with a rectangular gilt surround, in a rectangular wood frame, painted black with an acorn finial.
