A medallion commemorating Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805) mounted on a miniature anchor fouled with rope with a suspension ring at the top. The medallion bears a profile portrait facing left with the legend 'ADMIRAL LORD NELSON BORN 29 SEPTR 1758' within a beaded border. The medallion is stamped and the rest of the item is cast.
