Clock
Clock case containing a miniature of Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805). A marble clock case with ormolu mounts depicting mourning male and female figures and antique military trophies. It stands on a square base supported by lions with an obelisk placed above. The clock dial has been replaced by a miniature of Nelson, enamelled on copper and inscribed on the reverse: 'Adm Viscount Nelson...Aug 1801. Painted by Henry Bone ARA enamel painter to HRH Prince of Wales - after John Hoppner RA.'
