Silver tinder box
Silver tinder box belonging to Admiral Sir Guy Gaunt (1870-1953). A small silver box with a hinged lid, a suspension ring at one end. The interior is divided into a large and small compartment. The narrow compartment has a hole at the end and a ridged wheel in the centre which can be rotated through the aperture in the lid. The lid is inscribed: 'G.R.A.G.
