Speaking trumpet

Silver-plated speaking trumpet owned by Captain Morrison. The trumpet is plain, with a beaded rim and is inscribed on the side: 'Captn. H Morrison.' The oval mouthpiece has a reeded edge. Speaking trumpets were used on board ships as a loudhailer.
