Skewer: HMS Serapis
One of a set of three silver skewers in the shape of an arrow. It was used on board the troopship HMS 'Serapis'. The maker's mark "TF QF WS" is inscribed on the skewer. The skewer is lightly discoloured on the shaft and there is some light tarnishing on the decorative arrow fins.
