Electroplated tablespoon

An electroplated tablespoon by L. Upton, made about 1873. The spoon is of plain fiddle pattern, with the handle engraved with the ship's name 'SULTAN', a steam vessel built by and for the Greens in their Blackwall shipyard in 1873 for the Calcutta run.
