Electroplated tablespoon
An electroplated tablespoon by L. Upton, made about 1873. The spoon is of fiddle pattern, with the handle engraved with the ship's name 'Sultan', a steam vessel built by and for the Greens in their Blackwall shipyard in 1873. PLT0241 is another spoon of this type. There is also a print of the 'Sultan' in this collection, see PAH9333.
