Bronze vessel hand raised from a sheet of copper. The decoration is chased in the form of a clinker built hull. The finish is chemically patinated to a bronze colour. Inscribed on the ornamnet are the words "MARITIME ENGLAND SIGNED ROBERT BIRCH".
