A plated rimmed sugar bowl with two handles. It has a bowl shaped body, indented at the neck and opening into a flat rim at the top. The house flag of Alfred Holt & Co. Ltd (Blue Funnel Line) is engraved on the side. On the base of the bowl is the Walker & Hall flag and the maker's mark. Also inscribed on the bowl are the words "F, WALKER & HALL SHEFFIELD, AI, WARRANTED HARD & SILVER SOLDERED, 5". The sugar bowl is in good condition with slight surface scratches.
