Electroplated fork- SS 'Jelunga'
A fiddle pattern electroplated fork used by the British India Steam Navigation Company liner SS 'Jelunga'. The badge of the B.I.S.N.CO is engraved on the fork, consisting of Britannia with a shield in the left hand and a swallow tailed Union flag in the right hand. A ship can be seen behind Britannia. Inscribed on the fork are the words "B.I.A.S. (BRITISH INDIAN ASSOCIATED STEAMER) LD JELUNGA 70". The fork is severely tarnished.
