Electroplated fork- SS 'Kaputhala'
An electroplated fork that was used on the British India Steamship Navigation Company ship SS 'Kaputhala'. Inscribed on the fork is a belt and buckle with the words "B.I.S.N.CO LD. SS KAPUTHALA" along with the marker's marks "AW & HS W&N". The fork is severely tarnished.
