An electroplated coffee pot with a hinged lid used by the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company. It is engraved with the rising sun crest and the initials "P&O". The maker's marks are engraved on the base of the pot. The spout has been resoldered in two places. There are small areas where the plate has worn off. There are dents at the top of the handle and the base of the pot.
