Decorated ostrich egg

Ostrich egg, with hole at the top to blow out the contents, painted in oilswith an oval scene of African life. A tribesman stands in front of a hut with two other huts in the near foreground and a plam tree. The mountains in the backgrounds are stipple painted as is most of the rest of the picture. Badly faded inscription reads: 'Souvenir From South Africa.'
