Union Castle Line: sugar bowl
A silver plate sugar bowl that was used as part of the first class table setting on Union Castle Line ships. The bowl is circular with two handles and a zigzag engraved band on the rim. The Union Castle Line crest is stamped on the side of the bowl. The maker's marks are present on the base of the bowl.
