Sauceboat: Union Castle Line

A silver plated sauceboat used as part of the first class setting on Union Castle Line ships. It consists of a plain sauceboat with a zigzag pattern around the rim of the boat with the Union Castle Line crest engraved on the side. Inscribed on the side are the words "UNION CASTLE LINE". Inscribed on the base are the words "MAPPIN & WEBB, LONDON & SHEFFIELD, MAPPIN, F, CI/61".
