Plaque presented to HM the Queen by the International Maritime Organisation. Silver motifs of laurel branches surrounding crossed anchors linked by square-linked chain. Superimposed on the anchors, a silver disc with the continemts represented on it. The whole on a rosewood base. On a silver plaque below: 'PRESENTED TO HM THE QUEEN BY THE INTERNATIONAL MARITIME ORGANISATION ON THE OCCASION OF THE OPENING OF THE NEW HEADQUARTERS BUILDING OF THE ORGANISATION, LONDON, 17TH MAY, 1783'.
