Plaque presented to HM the Queen by the International Maritime Organisation. Silver motifs of laurel branches surrounding crossed anchors linked by square-linked chain. Superimposed on the anchors, a silver disc with the continemts represented on it. The whole on a rosewood base. On a silver plaque below: 'PRESENTED TO HM THE QUEEN BY THE INTERNATIONAL MARITIME ORGANISATION ON THE OCCASION OF THE OPENING OF THE NEW HEADQUARTERS BUILDING OF THE ORGANISATION, LONDON, 17TH MAY, 1783'. Designed by A.G. Styles. In a fitted case.
