Glass case with seaweed, seashells, and sea urchins

A large wooden case with a glass panel cut into the lid containing a large collections of different types of sea shells and coral. Printed on a label inside the case are the words “SHELLS COLLECTED BY THE LATE CAPTAIN W.A. WILLIS R.N. GREENWICH HOSPITAL, 1856-62. PRESENTED TO THE R.N. MUSEUM BY HIS SON MAJOR W.W.G.B. WILLIS R.N. L.I. IN 1907”. The shells are separated into 5 boxes sitting inside the case on beds of cotton wool. The paint on the outside of the case has come away in various places on the case.
