Cigar case
Cigar case belonging to Admiral of the Fleet Sir David Beatty (1871-1936). Wallet-type case in light brown pigskin with a metal frame and expanding sides. There are five separate compartments for different sizes of cigars. The monogram 'A B' in silver on the front. It has a locking fastener but the key is missing. The case contains two notes of provenance in French stating that the case was carried by Beatty during the Battle of Jutland.
