Jewellery box
Veneered, wooden jewellery box. It has a hinged, curved lid secured by a lock and key. The item has a steel carrying handle and there is a mirror inside the lid. It has mother of pearl inlay around the keyhole. A small mother of pearl plate under the handle is inscribed: 'E.H.' It supposedly belonging to Emma Hamilton but the provenance is dubious. It contains a length of decorative beadwork, possibly a 'choker'.
