Short length of silver bullion
A short length of silver bullion from the damaged epaulette of Nelson's Trafalgar uniform, with fair hairs entwined. Framed in a square wooden frame with a white plush mount and two red wax ship seals on the back. A handwritten paper is stuck with drawing pins on the mount: 'Lord Nelson's hair and bullion cut from his epaulette by the fatal ball. From Capt. Williams 15 May 1843.'
