Boulton's Trafalgar Medal
Obverse: Bust of Vice-Admiral Viscount Nelson with pigtail, in uniform and ribbon and star of the Bath (left). Legend: 'HORATIO VISCOUNT NELSON. K.B. DUKE OF BRONTE. &.' Reverse: General view of the battle. Glazed and framed. The medal is associated with Lieutenant George Lewis Browne RN (1784-1856) Nelson's Signal Lieutenant in 'Victory' at Trafalgar and is decorated with Lord Nelson's hair. Formerly contained in box REL0393.
