Album of photographs of Nina Baker on BF tankers British Willow and British Aviator

A light blue cloth and card album with a dark blue spine containing 11 b/w prints and 3 colour prints, mostly 1 per page. The pages are held in by a light blue twisted tassel.

The album includes photographs of Nina after she joined her first ship, the BP tanker British Willow (1965), as a Deck Officer Cadet in 1972 aged 18. The last three colour photographs are from her time on another BP tanker British Aviator (1957) in about 1975. They show her sitting on a bollard next to British Willow at New Zealand, behind the bar on board with the Catering Officer and Third Officer on bar stools, on the Bridge, on deck, with the Radio Officer, and ashore in Wellington with other officers. The three from her time on British Aviator include a view of the ship taken from the ship's lifeboat, a photo on the lifeboat of the crew and an unnamed officer's wife, and one image of a Crossing the Line ceremony.
