Bamboo walking stick
Bamboo walking cane without a ferule or a head. Said to have belonged to Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805). With a note: 'Given by Nelson to his secretary [John] Scott who bequeathed at to his son Rev. Scott, Vicar of Tewkesbury who gave it to his curate Rev. Robert Fowler whose wife left it to her great nephew BND [Lt. Cdr Basil N. Downie].
