Framed lock of hair
Glazed rectangular pendant with a lock of hair tied with black cotton against a cream damask material. It has a silver frame mounted with pink stones, set in openwork flower designs and with a swiveling bow above in the same material, a pendant pink stone below. The hair reputedly belonged to Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805).
