Locket of Vice-Admiral Nelson's hair
Locket containing the hair of Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805). A rectangular locket with a suspension loop. A lock of brown hair under glass at the back. The front contains a piece of black silk with a strip of white ribbon top left the bottom right with two gold coronets attached under which are the initials: 'N' and 'B' (Nelson and Bronte).
