Pocket case

Pocket case belonging to Captain George Blagdon Westcott (1753-1798). The exterior is made of blue leather and the interior of buff leather. The fittings are brass, crudely chased with a pattern of leaves. A pocket on the left hand side has flowers and foliage embroidered in coloured silk. On the right hand side, is a pocket lined with brown petersham. The case has a snap fastening.
