Decorative panel
Decorative panel from a model of a ship's dispensary made to show its placing on a ship against the bulkhead, with a section of deck above. The decorative panel is placed along the front edge of the bunk when in the sleeping position, to stop occupants falling out of bed. When the bunk is in the bench position, the decorative panel is placed along the back wall hidden away behind the lifted bed section.
