Medical instruments from 'Royal George' wreck
A collection of medical instruments retrieved from the wreck site of the ship of the line 'Royal George', which sank at Spithead in 1782. Part of a cloth-covered case, with the remains of two pairs of scissors and a razor with a handle of horn or tortoiseshell. All the instruments are covered in sediment and are severely corroded.
