Iron cleat from the wreck of the 'Royal George'
An iron cleat retrieved from the wreck site of the ship of the line 'Royal George', which sank in Spithead in 1782. It consists of a piece of iron with 5holes in the middle with two small stems attached. The cleat is severely degraded.
