Wooden snuff box
Snuff box made of the wood of 'Royal George', sank 1782. A small plaque on the lid is inscribed: 'ROYAL GEORGE Sunk 1782.' Mrs Horatio Kennedy sent this to the Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill, who sent it to the Admiralty, who passed it to the National Maritime Museum in 1941'.
