HM submarine E54 moored at Harwich.

A starboard quarter view of HM submarine E54 moored at Harwich. In the background are the fields of Erwarton and Shotley. The submarine's outer casing has been painted with camouflage stripes similar to the pattern found on a mackerel. The superstructure is painted grey and the conning tower has E54 painted in black letters on it.

The negative has some small spots on it and the right side is very slightly over exposed.
