MSS Note " The soundings shown in red were taken by C.S. "Faraday" during the laying of the 1924 Barbados - Demerara Cable. Those shown in blue were taken by C.S. "Faraday" with the tube while steaming from the buoyed end of the cable from Barbados to the anchorage off Georgetown 30-5-24, and while paying out cable from Georgetown 9th & 10th June 1924
