Walking stick made from H.M.S. 'Foudroyant'
Polished oak walking stick with a slightly shaped handle. A copper band is inscribed: 'Foudroyant Nelson's Flagship commenced 1789, Launched 1798 wrecked Blackpool 1897, Horatio Viscount Nelson Born Sep 1758 Died Oct 1805, Oak and Copper from vessel after breaking up.' The stick has a brass ferrule.
