Picture frame made from H.M.S. 'Resolute'
A glazed picture frame made from the timber of HMS 'Resolute'. The Hamilton crest is shown at the top. It is carved with flowers and foliage including roses and ferns. It contains a picture on wood on HMS 'Resolute'. A small flag in the botton right hand corner reads 'Hope. We waited'. There is a a handwritten letter stuck to the back of the frame.
