Box made from H.M.S. 'Royal Sovereign'
Box made from the wood of HMS 'Royal Sovereign' 1786 containing hair belonging to Lord Collingwood. 'Royal Sovereign' was his flagship at the battle of Trafalgar. A round oak box with a glazed portion in the centre surrounded by an ebony inlay under which is plated grey hair. The base of the box is lined with white silk. Contained in OBJ0171.
