Round oak box made from H.M.S. 'Victory'
Round oak box with screw top lid. Under glass on the lid, a silver plaque with an embossed profile portrait of Nelson facing left. Inside the lid a second silver plaque. Plaque on lid inscribed: 'ADMIRAL LORD NELSON BORN 29 SEPR 1758.' Inside plaque inscribed: 'This box is made from wood from HMS VICTORY which was presented to my father COL C. PRATT 5th REGT by CAPT. WESTPHAL R.N. who served on the "Victory" at the battle of TRAFALGAR.'
