Swedish plate money square
Plate money. Roughly square copper plate. Stamped Royal monogram '1717 XII', '2 DALER SM' arms showing a crowned rampant lion '1715'. Cancelled Swedish copper being exported as bullion. From the wreck of an unidentified merchantman circa 1780-1815, found in the South Edinburgh Channel, Thames Estuary.
