Leather wallet
A silk-lined, leather wallet with silver fittings and an ivory stiffener inside. An inscribed silver plate on the back reads: 'Testimonial to Lieut. Colonel Addison FRGS & William Beckwith Towse Esq. THE CHAIRMAN, VICE CHAIRMAN, AND DIRECTORS OF THE LONDON STEAM BOAT COMPANY, IMPELLED BY A SENSE OF DUTY HEARBY TENDER TO LIEUT. COLONEL ADDISON AND W.E.. TOWSE ESQR. The company was sold in 1884 and the boats and chief assets were taken over by the River Thames Steamboat Company.
