Burnt timber piece

A small piece of burnt timber bearing a paper label with the ink inscription 'Fire of London'. This is possibly a souvenir of the Great Fire of London, 1666. It is unclear whether this is wood from a building burnt during the fire, or from a vessel caught up in the blaze.
